The Vietnam Classic tour is our most compact program that invites you to explore Vietnam's culture and geography. Within 10 days travelling with us from North to South, you will explore from the vibrant Hanoi capital, The World Heritage site of beautiful Ha Long Bay to ancient citadel in Hue, ancient Hoi An town and the bustle Saigon as well as My Son Holy land. Our tour will surely bring you the most satisfaction and happy memories.

DAY 01Arrive Hanoi (D)

Your private guide and driver will meet you in the waiting terminal and drive you directly to your hotel in downtown Hanoi (travel time approximately 45 minutes). Your knowledgeable guide will be happy to answer any questions along the way, and will assist you with check-in and registration at the hotel.
In the late afternoon, you will take an hour cyclo, tour viewing the charming French colonial architecture to the bustling Old Quarter. Welcome dinner will be reserved at local restaurant.

This morning, you will visit famous Ho Chi Minh complex comprising his Mausoleum, former residence, the impressive house on stilts and view the One Pillar Pagoda. The One Pillar Pagoda, formally Diên Huu is a historic Buddhist temple. It is regarded alongside the Perfume Pagoda, as one of Vietnam's two most iconic temples. In the next step, you will learn more about the historical and cultural events at the peaceful Temple of Literature, known as the Vietnam’s first university since the 11th century.
In the afternoon, you will visit Ethnology museum, a museum that focuses on the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups. Back to the city central, you Continue walking around Hoan Kiem Lake and visiting Ngoc Son Temple regarded as the heart of Vietnam. To finish the day off, you attend the performance of the unique water puppetry and enjoy a cup of Egg coffee at Giang coffee shop, Nguyen Huu Huan street.

DAY 03Hanoi - Ha Long Bay(B, L, D)

We depart Hanoi for Ha Long Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Ha Long bay has more than 1.000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes.
Upon arrival at Ha Long Bay we embark on a boat trip to cruise discovering this magnificent UNESCO World Wonder. This is a great journey among surreal islands rising from a tranquil emerald sea. You will visit several key locations.
– One of the most stunning caves of Halong Bay
– Stop at a beautiful beach and take a refreshing swim or sunbathe on the sundeck; take a short trek to the nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay.
Back onboard the junk, you will watch the sunset and be served a sumptuous dinner, with cocktails available for purchase from the bar. You will spend the night onboard the junk, in a cabin with an ensuite bathroom.
Notes: The program may differ slightly based on the junk cruise’s itinerary.

DAY 04Ha Long - Hanoi - Fly to Da Nang - Hoi An (Late breakfast)

Early morning coffee and tea will be served on the sundeck followed by a Tai Chi class. After breakfast we take a Sampan boat or Kayak to explore the bay. We may have a chance to see the wild monkeys that gather around waiting for food from the tourists. After that we continue to cruise around the bay. Lunch is served on the boat on our way back to the docks then we transfer to Noi Bai airport for a short flight to Da Nang.
On arrival, you are picked up and transfer to the hotel in Hoi An for check-in. free time at your leisure.

Met up at the restaurant in the town, we have a drink for a short time then we visit Hoi An colorful market to experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and purchase some of the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.
We board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Cooking School. This is a chance to view local river life, so make sure your camera is handy.
On arrival, explore the cooking school’s herb and vegetable garden before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge chef’s, before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration).
After the lesson, we sit down and eat exactly what we have cooked.
Back to the town in the afternoon, a half day tour offers us a chance to see the Japanese Bridge, Phuoc Kien Pagoda, the ancient house Tran Phu and the Hoi An Museum. Enjoy shopping with tailors making clothing, lanterns, shoes, food or relax on the beach.

DAY 06Hoi An – My Son (B, L)

Today you will visit My Son Holy Land. Located 70 km southeast of Da Nang, My Son was the capital of the once almighty Champa Kingdom. It boasts a complex of ancient ruins that date back 1,700 years. This is the most complete example of ancient Champa ruins that Vietnam has maintained. You will return Hoi An and free time.

DAY 07Hoi An – Hue (B, L)

After breakfast at the hotel, you leave Hoi An for Hue. On the way, you stop at Marble Mountain, one of four mountains located south of Da Nang that stretched from the coast inland or westward for about three miles. All of the mountains had lots of cave entrances and tunnels and Lang Co beach.
Continue crossing to Hue - one of Viet Nam’s most cultural and historical cities once ruled by the Emperor of the Nguyen dynasty. This morning, you take time to visit the impressive tomb of King Minh Mang and cruise on the Perfume River to visit the Old Thien Mu Pagoda.

DAY 08Hue - Fly to Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

This morning, you will visit to Thanh Toan Village where we can see the lively morning market. This is where the locals come to by their daily food. Nearby is the 300 year old Thanh Toan bridge and a Cultural Museum. Continue on, you will visit the Forbidden Citadel and the crowded market of Dong Ba where you may be interested in bargaining for some priceless souvenirs. Then transfer to the airport for onward flight to Ho Chi Minh City, the former Saigon. Arrive at the airport, you are welcomed by our tour guide and transfer to the hotel. Later on, you will take an opportunity to visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Post office and Ben Thanh Market.

DAY 09Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

In the morning, we drive 70 kilometers North West to explore the underground tunnels in Cu Chi which system had been created long time back, from 1948 to assist Viet Minh in the combat with French. It was continuing built over 25 years later. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers. In places, it was housed up to 10,000 people who virtually lived underground for years… getting married, giving birth. During the American War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated a free fire zone and was heavily bombarded. From 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors. You may even have a chance to crawl through the tunnels yourself.
Return to Sai Gon in the afternoon, you have the opportunity to visit the controversial War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace, the former palace of President Thieu and his predecessors.

DAY 10Ho Chi Minh Departure City (B)

Free time until you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
